Propose a Conference

Should anyone wish to attend another conference under MUNSA, please fill out the Conference Proposal Form and email it to [email protected]

The Executive team will take a vote based on the Proposal Form, and will contact you with the results. Please include a proposed Head Delegate, and as much information about the conference as possible.

Funding

MUNSA is proud to be able to provide financial subsidies for specific conferences. However, unfortunately we cannot fund every conference MUNSA attends. Please contact your Head Delegate or the VP Finance if you would like to know whether a conference will be funded or not.

Exact amounts depend on MUNSA revenue and grants, and will be determined closer to the date of the conference. Head Delegates will be able to inform you of the exact amounts.

Costs for conferences are determined closer to the date as well; however, estimates can be found under the conference descriptions to the side, or by contacting either the VP Finance, the President, or the Head Delegate of the conference.

Application Process

Please apply for conferences via the Applications tab.

Conferences which require traveling outside of the region often include an interview process as part of the application. Examples of such conferences are National Model United Nations New York City (NMUN-NYC), while Northwestern Model United Nations (NWMUN) and UBCMUN do not require interviews. If you would like to know whether a conference involves interviews, please contact the VP Academic or the President.
